Scope and Contact
This Privacy Policy explains how Dieu Buhendwa, the independent operator of MyConditionIQ, handles personal information when you use myconditioniq.com, create an account, search a VIN, save a vehicle, or contact us.
Questions and privacy requests may be sent to support@myconditioniq.com. Do not email passwords or sensitive vehicle documents.
Information We Handle
We handle account and contact details, VIN searches, saved garage vehicles, your self-reported relationship to a vehicle, support communications, and technical security and service-use events such as browser, device, IP-address, and request information.
Authentication credentials are processed by Supabase Auth. MyConditionIQ does not receive or store plaintext passwords.
Vehicle Evidence and Sources
Vehicle identity and condition evidence may come from public authorities, participating providers, member submissions, or provider-hosted source pages. A VIN search is not private vehicle ownership proof, and saving a VIN does not make your identity public.
MyConditionIQ preserves available source context and may retain vehicle-record provenance where deletion would undermine integrity, fraud prevention, or legitimate reliance by other users.
How We Use and Share Information
We use information to provide accounts, VIN search, the Garage, vehicle evidence, support, security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, legal compliance, and service improvement. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cloudflare provides delivery and security. Supabase provides authentication and database services. Unknown VINs may be sent to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration vPIC service for manufacturer-supplied identity specifications.
Retention, Security, and Your Choices
We retain information while needed to provide the service and meet security, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal obligations. We use access controls, encryption in transit, logging, and least-privilege practices, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
You may update eligible profile information or request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of eligible personal information by emailing support@myconditioniq.com. We may verify your identity and retain information where permitted by law.
Cookies and Children
MyConditionIQ uses essential browser storage and authentication tokens to maintain and protect account sessions. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.
The service is not directed to children under 13, and users must be at least 18 to create an account.
